Safety is mandatory while using the B.I.S.R. ( Beaumont Indoor Shooting Range ) Facility or handling firearms and safety is strictly enforced. Please ask a B.I.S.R. associate for information on safety and procedures.
Rules are not in any order of importance because all rules are equally enforced and hold equal weight.
Please read all rules before using our facility.
- Firearms brought on premise or into the building must be unloaded and locked. Please bring firearms in a case or a lockbox, open action if possible.
- CCW please declare before entering.
- All federal, state, and local firearm laws must be followed.
- All firearms and ammo may be inspected and may be inspected at any time. California legal firearms and magazines only. If in doubt, please confirm your firearm and magazine are california compliant before your visit. It is your responsibility to make sure you are compliant.
- All shooters must sign a release, waiver, hold harmless, indemnification, and assumption of risk agreement form before using the range.
- You may only have a loaded firearm at the firing line.
- Do not load firearms at rear table, you may only load firearms at firing line.
- RSO (Range Safety Officer) will ban anyone handling a gun in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.
- No holstered weapons without prior RSO approval.
- Hearing and eye protection must be worn at all times while in the shooting areas.
- Smoking, Drinking, And Eating are prohibited in The Range.
- Pistol Range - All calibers of pistols up to 50cal. may be shot as well as 22LR's.
- Rifle Range - Up to and including 8mm
- Full metal jacket ammo only, no exposed lead.
- Tracers, incendiary, or armor piercing rounds are prohibited.
- No steel jacket, steel core, aluminum or steel case ammo is allowed.
- No black powder is allowed.
- There is a maximum of two shooters per lane.
- Spectators are allowed, but may not shoot without paying for insurances purposes.
- Please wash hands thoroughly after shooting or handling firearms and ammunition.
- RSO will ban anyone believed to be under the influences of drugs and alcohol.
- Responsible minors with responsible adults may shoot if granted permission by the Chief RSO. Minors must be able to show the ability to safely handle firearm.
- Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, both on and off range.
- All shooters must be able to clearly identify target to participate.
- If you are having a problem with a firearm, remember to keep it pointed down range. If you require assistance with your firearm, lay the gun down on the shelf with the firearm pointed down range and notify the RSO.
- Firing a shot that results in a bullet hitting anything other then the target or backstop may result in a repair charge and/or removal from The Range.
- Never reach across or cross the firing line.
- No brass collecting allowed.
- No rapid fire.
- Upon receiving cease fire command;
- Cease fire.
- Place firearms on bench pointing down range.
- Step back behind red safety line and wait for further instructions
- No Shotguns
